What is longevity medicine?

Longevity medicine is proactive, data-informed care focused on extending healthspan—the years you remain healthy, capable and independent. It evaluates trends across metabolic health, cardiovascular risk, hormones, inflammation, body composition, sleep, recovery and lifestyle. At Refine by Tulsi, longevity care is personalized and physician-led; it complements, but does not replace, primary care or health insurance.

A Different Model

Your annual physical asks whether you are sick. Longevity care asks how well you are aging.

A reference range can hide important trends. Refine evaluates how your markers interact, how they relate to symptoms and whether your health is moving in the direction you want.

01

See the full pattern

Fatigue, poor sleep, weight gain, brain fog and reduced performance rarely belong to one isolated system.

  • Symptoms and health history
  • Metabolic and cardiovascular markers
  • Hormones, nutrients and inflammation
02

Build a prioritized plan

More data is not automatically better. Your physician translates findings into a practical sequence of changes.

  • Foundational lifestyle priorities
  • Nutrition and body-composition strategy
  • Therapies only when appropriate
03

Measure the response

A good plan changes as your body changes. Follow-up data helps distinguish progress from guesswork.

  • Repeat biomarkers when appropriate
  • Body-composition trends
  • Symptom and goal reassessment
Your Longevity Roadmap

From scattered health data to one connected strategy

The membership follows a continuous cycle: establish your baseline, identify priorities, intervene thoughtfully and measure what changes.

1

Baseline

Health history, symptoms, goals, body composition and clinically appropriate testing.

2

Interpretation

Individual results, marker relationships, symptom alignment and changes over time.

3

Personalized Plan

Prioritized lifestyle, nutrition, exercise and medical options when appropriate.

4

Track & Refine

Follow-up symptoms, biomarkers and body composition guide each next decision.

What We Evaluate

The systems that shape how you feel now—and how you may age later

M

Metabolic health

Glucose regulation, insulin resistance, weight trajectory, appetite, liver health and visceral-fat risk.

H

Hormone health

Clinically appropriate assessment of thyroid and sex hormones alongside symptoms affecting energy, sleep, mood, libido and body composition.

C

Cardiovascular risk

Blood pressure, lipid patterns, family history and other risk factors interpreted in context.

B

Body composition

Muscle, body fat and visceral-fat trends—because scale weight alone does not show metabolic strength.

R

Recovery & resilience

Sleep, stress, exercise recovery, fatigue and the behaviors that determine whether a plan is sustainable.

A

Healthy aging strategy

A practical roadmap for preserving function, muscle, cognition, independence and quality of life—not a promise to reverse aging.

Powered by Refine OS

Don't wonder if it's working — watch it work.

Every membership includes Refine OS, the platform behind your plan. It turns your bloodwork, body composition, wearable data and how you actually feel into one Longevity Score and a biological age — read alongside your physicians, across the systems that drive how you age.

What it reads

  • Bloodwork
  • InBody
  • DEXA
  • Oura ring
  • Symptoms

Refine OS surfaces patterns for physician review — it is not a diagnosis and does not replace medical evaluation.

Longevity Medicine FAQ

Questions about Refine Longevity Club

What is Refine Longevity Club?

Refine Longevity Club is a physician-led health optimization membership in Chicago. It combines comprehensive assessment, clinically appropriate testing, body-composition data, symptom review and ongoing follow-up to create and refine a personalized healthspan strategy.

Is longevity medicine the same as primary care?

No. Longevity medicine focuses on health optimization, risk awareness and longitudinal trends. Refine Longevity Club does not replace your primary care physician, health insurance, urgent care or emergency care.

What does a longevity doctor evaluate?

A longevity-focused physician may evaluate metabolic health, cardiovascular risk, hormone-related symptoms, body composition, sleep, recovery, nutrition, exercise, medications and supplements based on individual clinical needs.

Does the Longevity Club include peptide therapy?

Peptide therapy is not automatically appropriate for every member. When legally available and clinically appropriate, a physician may discuss peptide or other treatment options, expected benefits, limitations, monitoring and separate costs.

Does the program include hormone replacement therapy?

Hormone therapy may be considered when symptoms, history and laboratory findings support it and no contraindication is identified. It is not prescribed solely for “anti-aging” and requires individualized monitoring.

Can longevity medicine help with weight loss?

Metabolic health and body composition are important parts of healthy aging. A plan may address nutrition, muscle preservation, insulin resistance, behavior and medically appropriate weight-management options.

Where is Refine Longevity Club located?

Refine by Tulsi has Chicago locations in Lincoln Park and Logan Square. Availability of specific consultations or services may vary by location.

Does longevity medicine guarantee a longer life?

No. No responsible medical program can guarantee lifespan extension, reverse aging or prevent every disease. The goal is to identify modifiable risks, improve current health and preserve function.

Who leads Refine Longevity Club?

The Club is led by two physicians: Dr. Tulsi Kotecha, MD, Refine's founder and medical director, and Dr. Laura Ruof, Head of Longevity and Optimization. Your plan is built, supervised and adjusted by them, so care stays physician-led throughout.

Is Refine OS included in the membership?

Yes. Every membership includes Refine OS, the platform that turns your bloodwork, body composition, wearable data and symptoms into a single Longevity Score and a biological age, tracked over time. It surfaces patterns for physician review and is not a diagnosis.
